3 migrants, including 2 from Cameroon, died in a truck accident in southern Mexico

Three migrants died in a highway accident in the southern Mexico state of Oaxaca, authorities say. At least two of the dead — a man and a woman — are from the African nation of Cameroon, and the identity of the third is being checked. Five more migrants were injured and are being treated at local hospitals. Treasurer for dozens of Ohio political campaigns accused of stealing nearly $1M from clients

A man who has served as treasurer for dozens of political campaigns in Ohio over the past 40 years is facing federal wire fraud charges for allegedly stealing nearly $1 million from clients. The U.S. Attorney’s office for the Southern District of Ohio says 76-year-old William Curlis is accused of writing checks from campaign accounts to himself for personal use and taking steps to hide the thefts.
