Chinese student given 9-month prison sentence for harassing person posting democracy leaflets

The U.S. Attorney's office says a Chinese former student at Boston's Berklee College of Music has been sentenced to nine months in prison for stalking and threatening a person who posted a flyer in support of democracy in the Asian country. Ford's 1Q net income falls 24% as combustion engine unit sees sales and revenue decline

Ford Motor Co.’s first-quarter net income fell 24% from a year ago as the company’s combustion engine vehicle unit saw revenue and sales decline. The Dearborn, Michigan, automaker said it made $1.33 billion from January through March, compared with $1.76 billion a year earlier. Excluding one-time items, Ford made 49 cents per share, enough to beat analyst estimates of 43 cents, according to FactSet. Louisiana dolphin shot dead; found along Cameron Parish coast

Up to $20,000 is being offered for information leading to a criminal conviction or civil penalty involving a dolphin that was found shot to death in southwest Louisiana. Federal wildlife officials say a juvenile bottlenose dolphin was found shot to death March 13 along the coast of Cameron Parish. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says a necropsy showed multiple bullets lodged in the dolphin's brain, spinal cord and heart.
