Seoul, South Korea — Senior leaders from China, South Korea, and Japan pledged greater “practical cooperation” and danced around areas of disagreement as they met in Seoul Monday, reviving high-level dialogue for the first time in almost five years.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang hailed the meeting as “both a restart and a new beginning,” as he addressed reporters after meeting with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
