FOUR people have died and five were left injured after a gunman opened fire in a bar.
The suspect, who is still at large, entered Tequila KC bar in downtown Kansas City at around 3.30am local time today.
Officers scrambled to the scene on Central Avenue to find four people already dead.
The four injured victims were rushed to local hospitals where they remain, and are said to be in a stable condition.
Kansas City police believe the attacker walked in to the bar and started shooting, but they are not sure if it was a lone attack.
The motive for the shooting remains unknown.
In a tweet, they police department said: “9 shot, 4 dead at 10th and Central Ave.”
The gunman, believed to be armed with a handgun, has been described as a Hispanic male, ABC news reported.
