[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Falcons win 4-0 over College of Saint Mary

OMAHA, Neb. – The Friends University Falcons went to Omaha, Neb. and defeated the College of Saint Mary Flames 4-0 in a fall matchup.

Madeline Watson (JR/Goddard, Kan.) got a big 6-1, 6-1 win for Friends and Amanda Zavala (SR/Haysville, Kan.) won a third-set tiebreaker for a 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 victory.

Arial Williams posted a convincing 6-2, 6-2 win for the Falcons, while the Falcon doubles teams (Watson/Zavala, Williams/Sydney McGrown (SO) and Matty Donaldson (SR/Haysville, Kan.)/Abigail Thibodeau (SR/Fort Mills, SC)) all recorded 6-4 wins.

The Falcons, under head coach Sandra Nixon, are now 1-0 on the fall season.
