The youth leaders in Kerala's Wayanad who were on an indefinite hunger strike since September 25 against the ban on night traffic through the forest stretch of Bandipur on NH-766 connecting Kerala and Karnataka, on Sunday called off their fast after the state government assured them that it would take necessary legal, political and administrative steps to resolve the issue.
