Princess Diana is eerily accurate as The Crown recreates her royal tour to Australia with Prince Charles
PRINCESS Diana stole the show as The Crown continues to film season 4 in Spain.
The Netflix drama is recreating Prince Charles and Diana’s royal visit to Australia in 1983, which was their first trip with baby Prince William.
Josh O’Connor took over the role as an adult Prince Charles for season three of the hit Netflix series, which is set to premiere next month.
Meanwhile Emma Corrin was confirmed to join the show for season four as Princess Diana, and the pair have been pictured together on set in Almeria, Spain.
Emma was pictured wearing an 80s floral peplum-style dress to play Diana.
Meanwhile, Josh wore white shorts and a shirt to play Charles.
Emma’s role on the show was confirmed back in April, after months of speculation over who would portray the late, and much-loved, princess.
Josh was previously pictured filming scenes for season three with Olivia Colman, who has taken over the role as Queen Elizabeth from Claire Foy.
The pair were seen at Caernarfon Castle in November last year shooting Prince Charles’ investiture.
Tobias Menzies, who has taken over the role of Prince Phillip from Matt Smith, was also on set.
The latest scenes will mirror the Royal couple’s trip to Australia, which was Diana’s first trip abroad.
