Strictly: Who left, who was in the dance off and which couple topped the leaderboard
MOVIE Week commenced on Strictly Come Dancing, with all celebrities channeling famous characters from some of the biggest flicks of all time.
And despite a sensational live show on Saturday, another candidate was sent home tonight – but who was it and which couple topped the leaderboard?
Who left Strictly Come Dancing tonight and who was in the dance-off?
After finding herself in the bottom two with her dance partner Kevin Clifton, Anneka Rice had little to no chance surviving yet another elimination.
The Treasure Island star put on a brave face for her performance on October 5, which saw her attempt the Charleston dance while dressed in a Kill Bill-inspired black and yellow ensemble.
It was a lackluster choreography by Anneka who only earned herself 11 points from the judges, which was quite the drop from her previous score of 19 in week two.
Bruno Tonioli was very vocal when it came to giving his opinion on Anneka’s routine, saying: “That god for your optimism, Kevin.
“You got the brief wrong. It was supposed to be Kill Bill and you did Slaughter the Charleston.”
Craig Revel Hollywood continued to chime in: “It was stopping and starting like a bad internet connection,” leaving Anneka gobsmacked.
During Sunday’s results show, the TV personality found herself as the first celebrity in the bottom two, consequently meaning she had to prove her place in a dance-off round.
She was joined by English footballer David James, and following both of their routines, the judges gave their final verdict.
“The commitment and improvement, I’d like to save David and Nadia,” Craig said.
Otsi felt the stronger couple were also David and Nadia, calling their routine “emotional.”
The couple that “delivered under the pressure” for Bruno was – as you guessed it -David and Nadia.
“To be honest, I’d have saved David and Nadia,” Anneka joked after being eliminated.
“I’ve loved this whole thing. We’ve worked really hard, I’m covered in bruises.”
