Margot Robbie and the stars of 'Birds of Prey' made a surprise appearance at New York Comic Con and posed with cosplayers
- "Birds of Prey" stars Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Dinah Lance/Black Canary), Ella Jay Basco (Cassandra Cain), and Rosie Perez (Renee Montoya) surprised fans by showing up at New York Comic Con on Saturday at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

Fans at New York Comic Con were treated to an unexpected appearance by Margot Robbie and the stars of "Birds of Prey."
Following the recent release of the full trailer for the upcoming DC movie, which hits theaters on February 7, 2020, the cast showed up to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York on Saturday. Robbie (who plays Harley Quinn), was joined by Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Dinah Lance/Black Canary), Ella Jay Basco (Cassandra Cain), and Rosie Perez (Renee Montoya) at New York Comic Con.
The stars posed for selfies at the convention, which were shared by the film's official Twitter account.

They also took group photos with cosplayers who dressed as various iterations of the comic book characters.

A video shared by Instagram user @urbanphotog02 showed the exact moment when the actors appeared to meet the fans.
Harley Quinn fan Melissa, who was in the group photos, was in shock over what happened.

The images were taken right in front of the DC section of NYCC, which has costumes from "Birds of Prey" on display for attendees to see.
Although costar Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Helena Bertinelli/Huntress) wasn't in attendance, the cast shared a message for her in a video that was reposted by a fan account.

They also sat at a table and got to meet more fans during an autograph session.
