Zibanejad scores 3, Rangers win again

Mika Zibanejad had his third career hat trick and added an assist to help the New York Rangers beat the Ottawa Senators 4-1 on Saturday night.
Zibanejad, who was drafted sixth overall by the Senators in 2011, is only the second player in Rangers history to record eight points in the first two games of the season.
Artemi Panarin also scored for the Rangers, and Alexandar Georgiev stopped 31 shots.
Zibanejad opened the scoring on a power play at 6:04 of the first period. He also scored short-handed to make it 3-1 in the second.

Bruins 1, Coyotes 0: Jaroslav Halak made 33 saves and Brad Marchand scored in the first period for Boston, assisted by Patrice Bergeron. Arizona's Darcy Kuemper stopped 24.
Canadiens 6, Maple Leafs 5 (SO): Paul Byron scored in a shootout and Montreal overcame a three-goal deficit.
Penguins 7, Blue Jackets 2: Jared McCann and Patric Hornqvist each scored twice and Pittsburgh had a five-goal second period.
Hurricanes 3, Capitals 2 (OT): Jake Gardiner scored in the last minute of overtime.
Panthers 4, Lightning 3: Mike Hoffman had his second career hat trick to lift Florida.
Blues 3, Stars 2: Sammy Blais had a goal and an assist, and his score midway through the third period was the winner.
Red Wings 5, Predators 3: Tyler Bertuzzi scored twice and had two assists to lead Detroit.
Avalanche 4, Wild 2: Mikko Rantanen had a goal and an assist and Nathan MacKinnon added two assists for Colorado. Ryan Suter had a goal and an assist for Minnesota.
