One Direction made over £2million last year — despite splitting up nearly four years ago
ONE Direction made more than £2.1million last year — even though the group split nearly four years ago.
The lads’ old company’s value soared from just under £5million to more than £7million as money continued to roll in.
The profit for the year actually went up £1million compared with the previous 12 months, when they made £1.1million, accounts show.
It goes to the remaining four members, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
Zayn Malik, who left the band in 2015, is no longer a shareholder so will miss out.
The 1D Media Limited accounts also reveal that the band’s dispute with the taxman is no nearer to being resolved.
