James Bond marries Madeleine Swann in No Time To Die but she keeps her maiden name
JAMES Bond will marry Madeleine Swann in new film No Time To Die – but she’s keeping her maiden name.
The character, played by Daniel Craig, first met the French psychologist (Lea Seydoux) in the 2015 film Spectre.
According to the Mirror, Bond will turn to his new wife and say “Morning Mrs Swann”, but she will reply “Don’t you mean Ms Swann”.
They added: “After Madeleine’s response Bond looks at her in an admiring way. It’s why he married her. She, like him, is tough and independent. The daughter of a gangster.”
The source claims that writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge had a “huge” impact on things like that in the script, adding that the film is “a big statement about how the franchise is moving into the 21st century”.
Not much else is known about the top secret plot but it was previously revealed that Director Cary Fukunaga is so keen to keep the plot under wraps he has reportedly filmed three endings.
