Homes, garages burglarized in Chicago Lawn: police
In each incident, the burglar was able to get into the home or garage and steal property from inside, Chicago police said.
Authorities are warning Chicago Lawn residents about a series of burglaries reported recently at homes and garages in the Southwest Side neighborhood.

The burglaries happened:
· About 10 p.m. Nov. 21 in the 6000 block of South Sawyer Avenue;
· About 6 p.m. Nov. 27 in the 6100 block of South Albany Avenue;
· About 9 a.m. Nov. 30 in the 6200 block of South Albany Avenue;
· About 3:10 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 6200 block of South Spaulding Avenue;
· About 9 a.m. Dec. 2 in the 6200 block of South Albany Avenue; and
· About 1 a.m. Dec. 6 in the 6200 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
Police described the suspect as a man in his late 20s or early 30s, standing between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot-2 and weighing between 170 and 190 pounds.
