India's opposition Congress party hold massive 'Bharat Bachao' rally

India's opposition Congress party held a massive 'Bharat Bachao' rally in Delhi on Saturday (14 December).

The gathering, at Delhi's Ramlila grounds, was led by party leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and former prime minister Manmohan Singh.

The so-called 'Bharat Bachao' rally was called, organisers said, to highlight the "divisive and disruptive" policies of the BJP government.

Smaller 'Bharat Bachao' protests were also held in other locations around the world.
