[Women's Basketball] Bethel falls in tight 54-52 contest at Friends

WICHITA, Kan. - Trying to change their luck before the calendar year ends, the Bethel Threshers (6-8, 3-6) took on the Friends Falcons (6-8, 5-5) last night in Wichita. The game featured four lead changes with neither side able to produce an advantage of more than nine points. The intense and equal match went into the final second of the contest to be decided, with Bethel battling back from a nine-point deficit to within two. The Threshers' final attempt at a victory, a last-second three out of a timeout, was blocked by the Falcons. Bethel took the loss 54-52.
