Funeral services Monday for officer killed in crash with SUV

SAN ANGELO, Texas (AP) — The funeral for a West Texas police sergeant killed when his motorcycle was struck by another vehicle will be held Monday.

Kennedy was killed Thursday night as he helped escort a parade of boats from Lake Nasworthy to a restaurant for an event called Showdown in San Angelo Drag Boat Races.
