Emily Atack cuddles mum Kate as they’re reunited after lockdown forced them apart
EMILY Atack was all smiles as she cuddled her mum Kate Robbins in a cute reunion snap.
The mother and daughter duo held each other tightly after they were forced apart by lockdown rules.
Emily, 30, had her blonde hair styled into pigtails as she put one arm around her mum’s shoulders for the picture.
While mum Kate looked content to be close to her eldest daughter as they caught up in the garden.
Emily has a younger sister Martha, 28, and brother George, 27, – their dad is music composer Keith Atack.
Due to the coronavirus lockdown, Emily and her 57-year-old actress mother have been separated for over three months, but now with the introduction of social bubbles for single households, the pair are back in one another’s arms.
Emily, who is single after splitting from her former partner, film producer Rob Jowers, last year, has admitted to struggling with the loneliness of lockdown life.
The actress told Emma Barnett on BBC Radio 5 Live: “I think at times like this you’ve got to appreciate everything you have, but you know, I’d give anything to have a row with a husband right now.”

Emily added that she finds it depressing seeing all the social media videos of families passing the time in isolation by having fun together.
She admitted: “With everything that’s happened, it puts you in a different headspace with it all.
“One second I’m flying the flag for single women and everything’s great … and the next minute all this is happening and I want anything but to be on my own.”
The comedian added that she realises there are many people much worse off than her, and she’s trying to stay positive.
Emily said: “Watching the news is just absolutely heartbreaking … so every day my main thing to do is just to look at what I have in my life and the people I have in my life.”
