Sister Wives star Logan Brown’s fiancee Michelle Petty donates her kidney to stranger in nee
SISTER Wives star Logan Brown’s fiance Michelle Petty has revealed she is donating her kidney to a stranger.
The Las Vegas native took to social media in early June to reveal she had been matched to a recipient and would be undergoing surgery on July 1, joking on June 30: “Last day as a two-kidney person.”
Michelle wrote on social media: “After a 10-month process I’ve been matched to a recipient & as long as everything keeps going according to plan, I’ll be donating a kidney on July 1st at UCSD!
“I would be incredibly appreciative for any recovery advice from those who have undergone abdominal surgery.”
Amid well-wishes and advice from followers, she was asked if she knew who may receive the kidney, to which she replied: “Someone who needs it! All I know :)”.
Michelle also admitted that her biggest concern ws not being able to exercise during the recovery process, tweeting: “Not being able to do anything but walk for 6 weeks is absolutely going to be the hardest thing about recovery. I’m already dreading not being able to exercise.”
Logan is Kody Brown‘s eldest son from his partnership with Janelle.
Kody, 51, has been the center of the TLC show Sister Wives since it debuted in 2010.
Originally from Wyoming, Kody was first married in 1990 to Meri Brown.
They later got divorced, but only so Kody could marry fellow Sister Wives star Robyn and adopt her children.
Kody has 18 children – and two grandchildren – with Janelle and Christine each the mother of six and Robyn the mother of five.
The Sister Wives clan lives in Arizona after previously residing in Utah and Las Vegas.
However, it is believed that the relationship between Kody and first wife Meri might be coming to an end after she snubbed him on their 30th anniversary.
Meri posted a photo on social media to mark the anniversary, but it was a selfie with her dog: “Puppy life… Can it get any better??”
She later posted a series of cryptic quotes on Instagram.
