A number of hatchlings have appeared during lockdown at Liberty’s Owl, Raptor & Reptile Centre in Ringwood, Hants.
After closing its doors in March following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the conservation centre plans to reopen to the public on Saturday 4th July.
Meanwhile, falconer Jayson Bridges at the centre has been working behind closed doors caring for Liberty’s newest feathery friends, feeding them using puppets of the adult bird from the species.
During lockdown the centre has seen hatchlings including turkey vultures, hooded vulture, peregrine falcons, European kestrels as well as ferruginous hawks and a black vulture.
It plans to reopen on Saturday, where the public can also see ferruginous hawks and a black vulture.
