In a first-of-its-kind case of COVID-19 meets “it’s complicated,” a 62-year-old man battling coronavirus suffered a four-hour erection while sedated and on a ventilator – apparently from clotted penile blood. While COVID-19 is known to cause clots, the recent case in France was a painful indication that those can happen anywhere in the body.
