Christine McGuinness shares rare snaps of twins Leo and Penelope in touching birthday tribute
CHRISTINE McGuinness paid a touching tribute to her children Leo and Penelope, giving fans a rare glimpse at her twins.
The 32-year-old Real Housewives of Cheshire star posted a montage of photos of the twins on their seventh birthday.
The photos marked their lives from when their model mum was pregnant with them until now.
Christine coupled the post with Louis Armstrong’s classic, What A Wonderful World.
She captioned the post: “Happy 7th birthday to my beautiful twins Leo & Penelope my superstars.
“They have barely spent a moment apart since the day they were born, I’m so thankful they have each other.”
She added: “I am truly blessed to be their mummy
“Feeling unconditional love is magical.
They made me a mummy, they made us a family and I am beyond proud.
“I LOVE YOU to the moon and back forever and always my babies you are everything to me ”
Christine is mum to the twins and three-year-old daughter Felicity with hubby and comedian Paddy McGuinness.
She opened up earlier this year, revealing Felicity had been diagnosed with autism.
Felicity’s diagnosis follows her older siblings, who also have the developmental disability.
She explained: “Recently our youngest daughter Felicity was also diagnosed with autism, three years after our twins Leo and Penelope were diagnosed.
“Going through this journey again does still bring some heartache knowing all three children will face challenges and difficulties that others won’t.
“But ultimately I feel confident as a family we are in a much stronger place, we are able to use our experience and knowledge as power helping us to feel well prepared.
“We are here to love and support our three extra special children and I thank god every day these babies are mine. Proudest mummy.”
She wrote the caption alongside a poem that read: “I am so proud to be your mummy, you are everything to me.
“All three of you are thriving with ASD [Autistic Spectrum Disorder]. I will never try and change you, you are perfect as you are.
“Mummy is going to change the world to understand her superstars. You are sensitive, you are strong, and you have such a special bond.
“You are funny and talented, cheeky and sweet, you all love your toys to be kept extra neat.
“Shining brighter than the stars above. You are special, so wanted and oh so loved.
