Tyson Fury proves he is people’s champ with heartwarming gesture to lad, 13, who had boxing ace’s face on prosthetic leg
TYSON FURY has proven once again that he is the people’s champion following his latest heartwarming gesture.
The Gypsy King delivered a special message to a 13-year-old super-fan who had the boxing ace’s face on his prosthetic leg.
Dublin teenager Leroy Collins idolises WBC champ Fury and decided to plaster the heavyweight’s face across his artificial limb.
The teen then posted photos of the artwork on social media accounts which caught the attention of the man himself.
Fury delighted fans after he gave a special shoutout to Leroy on his Twitter account.
The unbeaten 31-year-old Brit said he was privileged that he could count the young Dubliner as a fan and added that he would send him some boxing gear.
He wrote: “13 year old Leroy Collins from Dublin, I’m honoured that you got me on your leg pal, god bless you.
“Please send me your address and I’ll get some gear out to you buddy.”
And fans were moved by the gesture, with one tweeting: “People’s Champ! God bless you Tyson.”
Another replied: “Great gesture big man.”
A third added: “Very humble of you Tyson. Nice touch.”
Fury has regularly been hailed as the people’s champion since his incredible boxing comeback at the start of 2018.
