According to reporting in the Athletic, MLS has tentative plans for playing games in teams' home markets.

1. Restart on August 22
2. 18 games (9 home, 9 away) broken into 2 phases
3. Phase 1 will be 6 games between August 22 and Sept 13
4. Canadian teams would remain in Canada for Phase 1 and only play each other
5. Phase 2 is 12 games between Sept 13 and Nov 8
4. 9 teams from each conference make the playoffs,...
