UFC star Geoff Neal has revealed he almost DIED after being diagnosed with kidney problems.
The 29-year-old was scheduled to be back in the octagon at the end of the month in Las Vegas to take on Neil Magny.
But now he is facing a very different fight.
Neal posted on Instagram how he has been “hooked up to a dialysis machine” and warned others to “listen to your body at all times”.
The Texan posted: “These past few week have been crazy, and that’s putting it lightly.
“It’s really hard to try to find an eloquent way to say ‘I almost died.’ So screw it.. I almost died.
“This really put alot of things into perspective for me. Never did I ever think I would be hooked up to a dialysis machine before my 30s.
“Everything was going well for me. Was training everyday, making money at work, just signed a contract for a huge fight, then boom, life hit me with a check hook.
“I’m just glad to be home after having to spend one week in the ICU.
“Stay healthy out there y’all and listen to your body at all times.”

Neal was on a five-fight winning streak and impressively secured a TKO triumph against Mike Perry.
But he has not fought this year, and now faces an uncertain future in the sport.
According to MMA DNA, his place on the Las Vegas card on August 29 will be taken by former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.
