Liverpool Ready to Extend Neco Williams’ Contact

The youngster will be getting a new five-year deal. One of the bright points in the golden haze of post-League games was watching the Academy players make a mark on the team and on the season. Both Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones recently signed new five year deals with the club after excellent performances, and it looks like Neco Williams will be the next Academy player to receive a new contract from the club.
Williams made six appearances in the club’s nine post-lockdown games, and his talent was pretty apparent throughout. The 19-year-old defender earned his Premier League medal and the continued backing of the coaching staff as he looks for more minutes in the coming season.
