Rays rally to take three of four from Yankees
The Rays took three of four over the Yankees this weekend, including a thrilling come from behind win on Sunday. It moved the Rays back to .500 and tied for second in the division.
Charlie Morton was pulled in the third inning of yesterday’s win over the Yankees with shoulder discomfort. He will travel with the club to Boston.
In case you wondered why KK wasn’t used in some obvious pinch hit / pinch run situations.
Seemed there were a couple spots where #Rays could definitely have used Kiermaier today, and there was a reason they didn't. He was pretty much unavailable, having had a severe allergic reaction to something on Saturday night. Is expected to be fine in Boston.

Can confirm that the Indians sent home starter Zach Plesac after he violated team rules by leaving the hotel to go out in Chicago, as The Athletic reported. Cleveland has been extremely stringent with protocols, and this action is a warning to their players — and perhaps others’.
