Harry Styles snagged his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, as the summertime staple “Watermelon Sugar” blasts from No. 7 on the chart.
The song, released as a single off his Fine Line album back in November 2019, also gives Styles his second Digital Song Sales No. 1, after “Sign of the Times” led for a week upon its debut in April 2017.
Within minutes of the Hot 100 news, the crooner’s fanbase, affectionately called the Harries, flooded Twitter with congratulatory messages and watermelon sugar high emotions for their 26-year-old pop idol, and soon enough, the hashtags #CongratulationsHarry and #ProudOfHarry were trending worldwide.
