Boxer Victor Ortiz Kicked Man in Head at Kenny Chesney Concert
Kenny Chesney concerts have garnered a reputation for folks getting wild while attending them – and his L.A. show this weekend with Jason Aldean is proving to be no exception.
Boxer Victor Ortiz and his brother were arrested at the concert, which took place at the famed Pasadena Rose Bowl. The athlete and former Dancing With The Stars contestant was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after a verbal altercation with another attendee turned physical.
Police say Ortiz kicked the alleged victim – hence the “deadly weapon” charge. He was released on $30,000 bail.

It’s just the latest case of concert-goers going wild at a Kenny Chesney show, which as we mentioned before, are known for bringing the party, sometimes a little too hard! Last year, the star made headlines after some Pittsburgh city officials called to ban the country singer from performing in town following numerous arrests, citations, excess trash overflow and EMT calls for alcohol-related incidents at his 2013 and 2014 shows.
The ban didn’t pass and Kenny’s Big Revival Tour did make it to Heinz Field this year, although police officials reported 10 arrests, 17 underage-drinking citations and 170 EMT calls.
But back to the Pasadena gig,: also spotted at the show and being seemingly a little better-behaved? Southern girl Reese Witherspoon, who Instagrammed a photo of her and Kenny together.
