Govt plans to appoint 142 full-time protection officers

The Women and Child Development (WCD) Commissionerate, Pune will appoint 142 additional full-time protection officers (POs) for each taluka in Maharashtra to deal with cases registered under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
