The Guwahati Tea Auction Centre (GTAC) on Thursday sold a speciality tea called Manohari Gold Tea at a price of Rs 75,000 per kg — the highest price at which tea has been auctioned in Assam this year. With this, Manohari Gold Tea equalled the record price at which tea has been sold so far in the state.
