The final code for the special hat-wearing Pikachu has been revealed, which means that fans can claim the World Cap Pikachu in Pokémon Sword & Shieldright now. In order to celebrate the release of the Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword & Shield, The Pokémon Company has been giving away eight different types of Pikachu through Mystery Gift codes.
These special Pikachu are all wearing Ash's different hats from the Pokémon anime. The first two Pikachu wore hats from the early seasons of the anime, as well as the hat from the reboot movies. These were followed by the Hoenn Cap Pikachu, the Sinnoh Cap Pikachu, the Unova Cap Pikachu, the Kalos Pikachu, and the Alola Cap Pikachu.
All of the Cap Pikachu can now be claimed in Pokémon Sword & Shield. According to a post on Serebii's Twitter page, the code for the World Cap Pikachu is now available. All of the codes for the Cap Pikachu are valid until November 30th. The World Cap Pikachu is level 25 and it's carrying a Light Ball item that boosts its Attack and Sp. Atk stats. The World Cap Pikachu knows Electroweb, Iron Tail, Quick Attack, and Thunderbolt. The Pikachu is described as coming from a TV program.
In order to claim the World Cap Pikachu, load up a save in Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield and go to the Mystery Gift menu. Select "Get a Mystery Gift", then "Get with Code/Password". The system will then need to connect to the Internet. Once it reaches the menu, type K1NP1KA1855 to get the Pikachu gift. The Pokémon will then appear in the party or in the Box. All of the special cap-wearing Pikachu will be available until November 30.
The World Cap Pikachu is wearing the hat that Ash has in Pokémon Journeys: The Series. The name refers to the fact that Ash is now travelling to every region in the Pokémon world and battling all of the best trainers, rather than just going on another Pokémon journey in the Galar region from Pokémon Sword & Shield. Now that the Crown Tundra DLC is available, it's unclear when Pokémon Sword & Shield will receive any new special Mystery Gift Pokémon. It's possible that more will be made available if (or when) the rumored remakes of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl remakes are announced.
