What time is Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One tomorrow and is it a Halloween special?
STRICTLY fans look forward to the annual Halloween special each year.
This year the episode falls right on the actual date of Halloween too, but sadly the special theme won’t be going ahead on screen.
What time is Strictly Come Dancing next on?
Strictly Come Dancing will next air on Halloween, which is Saturday, October 31.
The episode will begin at 7.10pm on BBC One.
For the first time this series couples will be competing for the viewers vote, meaning the first elimination will take place.
Episodes from the series are available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
Will Strictly’s Halloween Week go ahead?
Much to the disappointment of fans, Halloween Week will not happen this year.
Normally contestants theme their dances and costumes around Halloween, adding another element of fun to the show.
This year that won’t be the case, as revealed by the RadioTimes.
Executive producer Sarah James explained the reasoning behind this decision was down to the series being shortened this year.
“We will have Movie Week and Musicals Week but we won’t have Halloween Week this year.
“We have done a Halloween group number but Halloween would fall on the second week this year and we thought it would be a bit soon for a themed week.”
“As we’d already announced there’s going to be a shorter run for a few different reasons really.”
Fans are disappointed, with one Tweeting: “Are we getting #Strictly #Halloween week or is covid stealing it?!”
Another upon finding out the news said: “We can’t have ANY nice things any more.”
“Just found out that @bbcstrictly Halloween Week has been cancelled and my whole year has been ruined,” another posted.

Sarah James also shared that the group dances were pre-recorded.
“The group numbers we’ve recorded ahead of the series which took a bit of time,” she explained.
Fans will have to wait another year for the prized Halloween Week.
