Kim Kardashian Dresses Up As Tiger King's Carole Baskin For Halloween
Kim Kardashian from Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Tiger King’s Carole Baskin go back a long way, and now Kim has chosen to dress up as Carole Baskin for Halloween. During the COVID-19 lockdown, the reality TV queen was fascinated by the Netflix docuseries Tiger King, just like everyone else was. Tiger King was based on the life of big cat enthusiast Joe Exotic, but Carole Baskin stood out. Some fans weren't sure if she was a hero or a villain. Now, it looks like the KUWTK star who thought Tiger King was “crazy” is still not over her obsession with the show.
The KKW Beauty founder had famously taken to Twitter after what seemed to be a Tiger King binge sesh, posting, “Has anyone seen Tiger King on Netflix?!?! It is crazy!!!!” The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star ignited a tweet-storm. Many fans, followers, and family members were asking Kim what she thought of the twisted Netflix tale. Mrs. Kardashian West echoed everyone’s thoughts when she wondered if Mrs. Baskin had killed her second husband, Jack Donald Lewis. Lewis had gone missing after he tried to file a restraining order against her. “Wow the amount of texts I’ve gotten about Tiger King since I tweeted about it all have mentioned their belief that Carol killed her husband! What are your thoughts? Do you think Carol killed him?” tweeted Kim. She shockingly also received a response from Carole's big cat sanctuary, Big Cat Rescue. Carole’s third husband had tweeted the famous Kardashian, asking her to visit the Tiger King star at the sanctuary in Tampa, Florida, to get some answers. While the SKIMS owner may be waiting until COVID-19 is over to visit her favorite TV star, she did refresh the memories of this interaction by hilariously dressing up as Carole for Halloween 2020.
Known for always impressing the world with her iconic Halloween costumes, Kim first shared videos of her kids putting on some tiger make-up via her Kim Kardashian Instagram. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s 190 million followers saw the little "big cats" North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm getting their faces painted with stripes and whiskers. They were ready to pose as the majestic beasts. The 40-year-old expertly mimicked the Dancing With The Stars contestant by donning a flowing leopard print top, jeans, and a purple flower crown. Meanwhile, Jonathan AKA Foodgod dressed up as Carole’s archnemesis, Joe Exotic. Her eldest daughter North was seen singing the viral TikTok song lyrics, “Carole Baskin, Killed her husband, wacked him.” North prompted her mom to finish the song but Kim Kardashian admitted she didn’t know the lyrics, as the child continued, “can’t convince me that it didn’t happen.”
Jonathan and Kim later posed for a backyard photo session, complete with a metal cage, in a story that she captioned with, “I’m never doing a shoot with kids again.” Soon after, Kim posted the final photos on her IG profile feed, captioned with, “Carole Baskin, Joe Exotic and our tigers. #Halloween2020.” Jonathan was seen asking his Keeping Up With the Kardashians co-star if this costume could top their Sonny and Cher look from Halloween 2007, while Khloé Kardashian replied with, “Awwwwwww yes yes yes!!!”
Oddly enough, the Twitter incident between Kim and Big Cat Rescue isn’t the only unusual connection between Keeping Up With The Kardashians celeb and Carole Baskin. Kim is a prison reform advocate who was recently studying for the bar exam. She was seen preparing for her test by completing a Tiger King questionnaire in April. "OMG My law school studying is Tiger King themed today," Kim had written in an Instagram story. Perhaps this should have been a big enough clue for Kim Kardashian fans who were playing guessing games about who their favorite Keeping Up With The Kardashians star could be dressing up as for 2020.
