Emmerdale fans slam filming blunder as cars ‘don’t touch’ in dramatic crash scene
EMMERDALE fans spotted another blunder last night as the big car crash failed to see either of the cars actually touching each other.
The so-called crash – between Charity Dingle and Moira’s brother Mackenzie – was more of a swerve, and viewers were baffled by it.
With neither of the car’s hitting each other, there could have been no damage but despite this the two characters rowed about who would pay for it.
One wrote: “#Emmerdale ah the cars didn’t touch at all so wtf is with this damage b******s.”
A second said: “”This is so pathetic the cars never touched, who is directing this #emmerdale”
Another added: “The angle they showed it before the break, they never touched cars #emmerdale.”
It comes after fans spotted another blunder on Wednesday night as Marlon Dingle visited Dan and Amelia Spencer in hospital – despite visitors being banned during the pandemic.
The chef – who is played by actor Mark Charnock in the ITV soap – turned up in hospital as Amelia waited for her scan after she broke her arm in an accident at the garage.
Dan was sitting next to her as her dad, but Marlon isn’t immediate family and shouldn’t have been allowed in.
Hospitals have introduced strict rules to protect people during the pandemic.
And fans were shocked at the blunder with one writing: “I know soaps are fake, but #emmerdale get some reality into the hospital scenes.
“People haven’t been able see loved ones pass away, yet literally people off the streets go and see someone in A&E.”
A second said: “How come Amelia has two visitors in hospital? COVID not in Hotten General? #emmerdale”
Another said: “Why are Dan and Marlon mooching about the hospital in the middle of a pandemic?! No visitors!!”

A fourth added: “Amelia in an @emmerdale hospital bed (during COVID-19 year, meaning unless it’s life threatening you won’t get a bed) is thee most unrealistic thing.
“Asp how convenient she faints due to lack of food, JUST as her little fingers is mopped by a car bonnet #emmerdale”
Others praised the storyline for raising awareness of the realities of the benefits system.
