Coronavirus: ministry clarifies number of people at private gatherings
The maximum number of people in house gatherings, birthday parties and other private events, is 10, including children, the health ministry said on Friday.
The ministry issued clarifications about the maximum number of people allowed in gatherings in house and other areas, as per the measures against the spread of coronavirus that are in effect until November 9.
Therefore, the maximum allowed number of 10 people should be observed in gatherings such as birthday parties of children or adults in houses, play places and parks. This does not apply in cases the party takes place in a restaurant, café or bar.
The ban on gatherings of over 10 people, including children, also applies for pool or beach parties, yachts, dinner or cocktail parties in private or public places, and family or friendly gatherings in homes.
Organisers of such events and / or those in charge of the premises should keep a list of attendees, which should be given to the epidemiological surveillance unit of the health ministry to facilitate tracing, in case people who attended test positive to the virus.
