LG shutdown: Will LG smartphones still get Android 12 and security updates?

LG today dropped the heavily rumoured news that their fans had been dreading - that the South Korean tech giant will be exiting the smartphone market. But will owners of existing LG mobile devices still be getting security updates? And if so what LG phones could be getting this year's big Android 12 update?
