Street Gang Trailer Gives First-Look At The Making Of Sesame Street

The trailer for the documentary Street Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street shows a first look at the making of the children’s television show. Based on Michael Davis’ best-selling account of the same name, Street Gang became a darling of the 2021 Sundance Film Festival thanks to its fresh take on the iconic series that changed the course of television history.

Slated to hit theaters on April 23 and VOD on May 7, Street Gang chronicles the conception of Sesame Street and the tireless efforts of Jim Henson and his fellow artists who brought the characters to life. Directed by Marilyn Agrelo, Street Gang is packed with rare archival footage, Henson's unique puppetry work, and insight from cast members.
