Kaiser Carlile, a bat boy for a collegiate summer league in Kansas, died on Sunday, a day after he was struck by a bat. The small town of Liberal, Kansas, and the team, Liberal Bee Jays, are mourning Carlile, who was about to start the fourth grade. Don Dahler reports.
