[MSC] Pikeville Captures Mid-South Polar Plunge Challenge Cup

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Pikeville captured the inaugural Mid-South Polar Plunge Challenge Cup following the conclusion of the Mid-South Conference Polar Plunge for Special Olympics.

The Mid-South Polar Plunge began back in February for student-athletes to get involved in supporting local Special Olympics. "We are so thankful to the hundreds of student athletes across the Mid-South Conference who chose to participate in the Mid-South Polar Plunge," Taylor Ballinger Development Director of Special Olympics Kentucky said. Student-athletes across the conference on their respective teams raised a total of $12,643.15 for Special Olympics.
