Brothers Anatoly and Vladimir Tokov set to compete at Bellator 269
Bellator has booked a father-son duo on one of its cards, and now it will book brothers.
The ViacomCBS-owned promotion announced on Wednesday that top-flight middleweight Anatoly Tokov will be joined by his brother Vladimir Tokov at Bellator 269, which takes place Oct. 23 at VTB Arena in Moscow.
Tokov (29-2), who’s currently riding a five-fight winning streak in Bellator, serves on the Showtime-televised main card against Sharaf Davlatmurodov (18-3-1), while Vladimir Tokov (7-1) takes on Aymard Guih (15-11-1) on the Youtube-streamed prelims.
The family matchups arrive more than two years after current featherweight champ A.J. McKee was joined by his father and coach, Antonio McKee, at Bellator 228.
Bellator 269 is headlined by the return of former PRIDE heavyweight champ Fedor Emelianenko in a fight against Tim Johnson. In the co-headliner, former Bellator heavyweight champ Vitaly Minakov (22-1) takes on Said Sowma (7-2).
