India launches $3.5 billion incentives for green cars

NEW DELHI: India will splash 257 billion rupees ($3.5 billion) on incentives for the auto sector to boost production of clean cars, the government said Wednesday, as it seeks to cut greenhouse gas emissions as part of the Paris climate accord.
