Barometers hit record high; ITC spurts 7%

The benchmark indices attain new record high in early afternoon trade. The Nifty was trading near 17,600 level. The Sensex hit record high of 59,010.54 while the Nifty scaled record high of 17,589. FMCG stocks were in demand.
