Blood pressure pills prescribed on NHS could treat dementia - and they cost under £2

A NEW blood pressure drug costing just £1.17 a pack could treat vascular dementia or stop it developing completely, a new study has shown. The preliminary research, conducted in mice showed amlodipine to increase blood flow to the brain. Now, successful human trials could offer patients "hope to prevent" the disease.
