Piers Morgan’s wife says he’s got a ‘spring in his step’ as he tweets cryptic message about new job
PIERS Morgan’s wife has teased fans saying he’s got a “spring in his step” after he shared a cryptic message about his new job.
The 56-year-old star simply posted a clock meme on his Twitter with no caption – leaving fans guessing.
Piers‘ fans were quick to comment on the post, with many speculating where his next job could be.
One wrote: “KING PIERS BACK ON TV.”
Another shared: “Congratulations Piers, well deserved.”
“Oh I really hope this means what I think it means?! Time you were back!!!,” a third posted.
This was followed by wife Celia Walden sharing a photo of Piers looking coy from their front doorstep.
Looking smart in a blue suit and a crisp white shirt, Piers posed for the quick snap.

Celia wrote: “Someone’s got a spring in their step today. Wonder why…”
Her fans were also desperate to know where Piers will be heading to, with one writing: “Give us a clue! I’ve never checked social media so much.”
Another added: “Please tell me you’re coming back to GMB.”
Piers has also taken to social media to share the identical snap and teased fans again.
Alongside the photo he wrote: “It is going back to work day?”
Earlier this week, he revealed that he is looking for a “new TV wife” for his upcoming job – which will be “bigger than Good Morning Britain”.
Piers sensationally quit GMB back in March following a row over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Oprah interview, but he insists that he is onto bigger and better things.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, the TV favourite kept his cards close to his chest when quizzed on his new role, but shared: “Have patience, it won’t be long. It’s a lot bigger than GMB.”
He added: “It’s not fighting talk, it’s just a lot bigger. You’ll see soon.”
Piers also referenced his former co-star Susanna Reid, quipping: “You never know, I might be auditioning for new wives…”
