RHOBH: 5 Times Fans Supported Denise Richards (& 5 They Didn't)
While Denise Richards was only on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for seasons 9 and 10, fans will never forget about her incredibly dramatic episodes. Denise had a relatively happy and peaceful season 9, as she married Aaron Phypers and viewers saw their home life with her daughters, but things changed a lot in season 10 when Brandi Glanville said that she and Denise had been involved.
While Denise has seen a lot of love from fans, there have also been many RHOBH moments when she seemed to be in the wrong and when viewers had a difficult time with the way that she was talking and behaving.
10 Supported: When Brandi Shared About Their Alleged Affair
Of the most dramatic Brandi RHOBH episodes, season 10's "Kiss And Tell" involved the former cast member telling the others that she and Denise were once together romantically. This led to a difficult season as the cast wanted to believe Brandi, but since Denise kept saying that this wasn't true, they weren't sure what was real and what wasn't.
Regardless of what actually happened between the reality stars, Denise had a right to her privacy and viewers could understand that she wanted to keep this situation away from the spotlight.
9 Didn't: When She Complained About The Dinner Conversation
Denise hosted a party in her beautiful backyard and the cast was thrilled to attend, but things went sour quickly when the topic of threesomes was brought up. While the other cast members were laughing and joking around, Denise got mad and said that they shouldn't talk about sex near her daughters.
The conversation wasn't really that bad, and it made sense when Denise's co-stars said that her teenagers had likely heard about these subjects at school or through pop culture. It was tough to see this situation from Denise's POV as no one meant any harm.
8 Supported: When Denise Didn't Feel Lisa Rinna Was A Good Friend
Fans are familiar with Lisa Rinna's surprising choices on RHOBH, but she has also tried to be a loyal pal to her co-stars over the years. Unfortunately, Lisa and Denise weren't able to save their friendship once Denise shared in Italy that she was upset with what she felt was Lisa's lack of support.
Denise has a right to her thoughts and emotions, and since she felt that Lisa wasn't there for her, fans could take her side and understand where she was coming from. She wanted just one ally in a season full of gossip and rumors and that didn't seem like too much to ask.
7 Didn't: When She Called Everyone "Mean Girls" In Italy
Fans know that Denise didn't have a good time filming season 10 of the reality show, but she didn't seem all that excited about the Italy trip, and she definitely didn't seem happy to sit with everyone at dinner. In one shocking scene, Denise called her co-stars "mean girls" and totally insulted them.
No matter how upset Denise was at her co-stars for listening to Brandi, she could have approached this dinner in a more peaceful way, and she didn't have to hurt their feelings. It was tough to watch this scene as Denise seemed angrier than she should be.
6 Supported: When She Left A Party Because Of A 6 A.M. Call Time
Both Denise and Garcelle Beauvais are actors who have often left events or stopped filming before the others because they had to get somewhere for work. But when Denise left a party early once because she had to wake up super early to film, her co-stars didn't support her.
While everyone thought that Denise was just trying to avoid the drama that was following her around, her reason for leaving made total sense and it didn't seem right that the other cast members got so upset about this.
5 Didn't: When She Stopped Filming Season 10
Of all the wild moments on RHOBH, it was definitely unforgettable when Denise quit the show in the middle of filming season 10.
Fans understood that she was having a tough time and felt uncomfortable with all of the questions about Brandi, but at the same time, Denise had agreed to film the whole season and it seemed wrong to leave early. At the very least, she could have tried to get along with the others, and maybe so many arguments wouldn't have broken out. It made sense that the others were shocked at this decision.
4 Supported: When Her Daughter Called Charlie Sheen
In a season 9 scene, Denise told her daughter Sami that she could only date when she turned 16, but that didn't sit well with Sami who wanted to go to her school's Homecoming dance. Sami called her dad Charlie Sheen, who didn't agree with Denise and said, "I trust your judgement, if you think it's the right person to go with."
While not everyone would agree with Denise's dating rules, it makes sense that she wants to set boundaries for her children since they live in the public eye, and it must have been tough for her to hear her ex-husband's different perspective on the topic.
3 Didn't: When She Yelled "Bravo, Bravo, Bravo"
Denise definitely make filming season 10 a little difficult when she yelled "Bravo, Bravo, Bravo" in one scene.
At first, Kyle Richards looked on and seemed confused, and fans weren't sure what this phrase meant. Before too long, fans learned that Denise screamed "Bravo" because she wanted production to stop immediately and she thought that meant that whatever she said wouldn't end up in the show. She said that Kyle had once explained that they said this when they were doing their makeup and didn't want to be filmed. Fans found it strange that Denise would say these words and no one agreed with her here.
2 Supported: When She Was There For Lisa Vanderpump
Of all the RHOBH cast members who left early, fans still miss Lisa Vanderpump. If season 10 wasn't a great time for Denise, season 9 wasn't a picnic for Lisa, either. Denise showed up at Lisa's birthday party and told the cameras, "I feel sad for Lisa Vanderpump putting on a happy face, knowing the other women aren't here to celebrate her birthday and I know this is really hard for her."
When Denise also told LVP that she felt badly about the drama surrounding "Puppygate," fans could take her side, as she just wanted to be a good friend to Lisa. It doesn't feel good to be excluded and since it seemed like the others weren't there for Lisa, it was sweet that Denise stepped up.
1 Didn't: When She Didn't Bring Her Kids To A Party
In the season 10 episode "Mind Your P's and BBQ's," Kyle had a barbecue, and Denise made it clear that she didn't want to bring her daughters. Kyle and the other cast members were offended as this was meant to be a lovely, fun family afternoon.
Denise said that she was uncomfortable having her kids there because she didn't want the cast to talk about sex again, but this seemed like a strange reason, as it seemed unlikely that the same conversation would happen again. Fans couldn't support Denise here and wished that she had tried harder to get along with her co-stars.
