Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol - How Many Episodes (& When The Finale Is)
Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol is the newest installation in the Da Vinci Code series — but how many episodes will the series have, and when will the finale be released? Starting as a series of novels by author Dan Brown, the Da Vinci Code series has won the hearts of fans worldwide. It's been five years since the last film in the Robert Langdon trilogy, Inferno, was released; now, The Lost Symbol will take the story of Robert Langdon where it's never gone before.
The Robert Langdon series — all of which have been made into movies including The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and Inferno — tells the story of Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks), a Harvard University professor of history of art and "symbology." Robert Langdon's genius and eidetic memory are used to solve ancient mysteries hidden in codes and riddles, inevitably to thwart the plans of secret societies. Connecting all of the clues is the Catholic Church's greatest secret: the bloodline of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene. Despite negative critical reviews, the movie trilogy was a hit with audiences, pulling in over $1.4B in the box office combined. However, Tom Hanks won't be reprising his role as Robert Langdon in The Lost Symbol — instead, the series will follow a younger Robert Langdon, played by Ashley Zukerman of Netflix's Fear Street trilogy, as he attempts to puzzle out the clues behind his mentor's kidnapping.
Robert Langdon's return to the screen is here — the first episode of Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol arrives on Peacock on Thursday, September 16. The Lost Symbol will be releasing one episode a week every Thursday. While the time of each episode drop hasn't been confirmed, if they follow the timing of other Peacock Originals, each episode of The Lost Symbol should be released at 12 am PDT — or 3 am EST. So how many episodes of The Lost Symbol are there, and when will the finale air?
In total, The Lost Symbol will feature 10 episodes in season 1. Each episode will be released one at a time over a span of 10 weeks. So far, the titles of the first three episodes have been released: “As Above, So Below,” “The Araf,” and “Murmuration.”
With 10 episodes, The Lost Symbol should unfold over the course of about two and a half months. While a finale date hasn’t been confirmed, ten weeks from the series premiere would mean that The Lost Symbol series finale will air on November 18. The Lost Symbol will be streaming on Peacock TV, NBCUniversal's streaming platform.
