AN alligator was roped by cops after going on a stroll through residential streets.
The 9ft reptile had to be tied up with a leash put around its neck by police officers after it tried to get into a community pool area.
It had broken through a porch lattice at the pool’s reservation office in North Carolina, US.
The alligator was walked off by the four officers last week and released into a nearby pond.
