MORNING...
* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southwest winds 20 to 30
kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 5 to 8 ft. For the Gale
Watch, northwest winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and
seas 6 to 9 ft possible.
* WHERE...Waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX from 20 to 60
NM and Coastal waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX out 20
NM.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 1 AM CDT Thursday.
For the Gale Watch, from late tonight through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.
