Covid and cost of living sees 2,600 grassroots football clubs fold in year, study finds

The pandemic and rise in the cost of living has led to 2,600 grassroots football clubs folding in last 12 months, a report has found. A further 6,000 are at risk of closure between now and the end of next season.
