As two people who have been playing the sport their whole lives, Kate Eddy and Hannah Mundy have competed against more teams than they can count.
And as a result, the Melbourne Vixens’ players say there are certain personality types that gravitate towards some key positions.
Speaking to Mama Mia, the pair said people who go for the Centre position are “micro managers” who like to “control everything”.

And if Centre is the Kris Jenner “momager” of the team, then Goal Defence is Kourtney Kardashian.
As the name of the position would suggest, GDs have to constantly monitor their competition – so they normally attract assertive personalities.
Describing the typical GD, Hannah and Kate said: “She’s feisty and always right.”
Due to the nature of the Goal Attack role, the professional players say girls who take on this position are normally always “over-achievers”.

Not only have they got to chase of the competition, they also have the chance to carry the team to victory.
Continuing with the Kardashian theme, Hannah and Kate said GA exudes Kendall Jenner “princess runway” energy.
As for Wing Attack, the pros said they’re the real backbone of the team – providing support when you need and always there to shout a few words of support in tense moments.
Describing her as “powerful”, Hannah and Kate likened this position to Kim if you see netball team like the Kardashian family.
Let’s be honest – Wing Attack is a pretty overlooked position and is usually the first to get cut if you’re short on players.
So to fill this role, Hannah and Kate say you have to be a pretty relaxed person who is usually just “happy to be there”.
Unsurprisingly, the person who takes on the role of Goal Keeper has to be cool under pressure and never shies away from a challenge – think of her like the Khloe Kardashian of the squad.

As for Goal Shooter, Hannah and Kate says this is a position designed for ambitious perfectionists who have their minds focused on one thing: victory.
And if they had to pick one Kardashian to play this role, it’d have to be Kylie – as it requires a “scary level of focus and drive”.
